Priority 1 ENROLLMENT - Beat the rush and register your student during Priority 1 Enrollment!

• SchoolMint Link will be live on November 3, 2025
• Window opens at 8:30 a.m. on November 3, 2025 and closes 11:59 p.m. on February 6, 2026  
• Intra-district transfer requests will be accepted only during the Priority 1 Enrollment window.
• Intra-district Lottery will be pulled on February 2026

The San Mateo Union High School District holds Orientations and Programming events at all comprehensive San Mateo Union High School District schools.

Orientation

This is an opportunity for incoming 9th graders and their families to learn about available classes, receive informational packets with  class schedules and ask questions of the school's counselors. Orientation is typically a group event.

Programming

A short time after the orientation, after you have had time to "digest" the class schedule and selection as a family, you will attend a programming event where you will meet with a counselor and actually select classes in consultation with counselors.

These are important events to attend with your student. They will help acclimate your student to the academics of the school and ensure that your student gets off to a smooth start for their four years of high school!

8th Graders celebrate the end of the year by going to Great America.  Students must have adhered to their 8th Grade Contract to attend Great America.  8th Grade Contracts go out late April/early May for both parents and students to sign.

2025-2026 Promotion Ceremony will be held June 9, 2026 at 3pm at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center.  Most up to date information will be communicated on Parent Square.
