Hello! I’m Orlando Brambila, one of the school counselors here at Abbott Middle School. I’m excited to be part of this vibrant educational community and to support our students in their academic and personal growth.

With a strong background in both Sociology and Education, having earned my Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz and my Master’s in School Counseling from the University of Southern California, I bring a comprehensive perspective to my role. As a bilingual counselor fluent in both English and Spanish, I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all students feel understood and supported.

My professional goal is to empower each student to realize their full potential by providing personalized guidance, fostering resilience, and promoting a positive school experience. I look forward to working with students, families, and staff to create a supportive and enriching atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

If you have any questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

After receiving my Bachelors in Psychology, I continued my education by obtaining a Master’s of Education in Counseling from the University of New Orleans. My experiences as a School Counselor and as an Educationally Related Mental Health Specialist have guided my ever-evolving approach with students, but my goal remains constant: connection! Through human connection, we develop trust, empathy, and safety that create an environment that allows children to grow. When I’m not at work, I enjoy anything that is cat-related, so please show me all your pet pictures!
